Maybe I’m speaking out of turn as a woman…but I think when the circumcised penis is fully flaccid, the glans isn’t generally exposed. Or not much of it, anyway. The whole organ shrinks away to “doesn’t stick out much from the crotch”.

That depends on how much of the foreskin is cut off, since not every circumcision is to the same.
Some glands are completely exposed the whole time, whereas others are somewhat to mostly covered.

I think you are missing his point. Which is that fgm is a much more damaging procedure than male circumcision. Yes, there is a really uncommon form of it that is similar to circumcision. But the vast majority of fgm includes cutting off part of the clitoris, or more. So it’s analogous to chopping off most of a boy’s penis, or more than that. Not to circumcision.

Almost all of the clitoris is internal. Cite. So even a Type 1b FGM, cutting off the exernal part of the clitoris, isn’t analogous to “chopping off most of a boy’s penis”, since a much larger part of the penis is external. And even Type 3 FGM victims can experience sexual pleasure, and
I’m not defending FGM. I’m just flabbergasted that some people are unable to accept that cutting away bits of girls’ genitalia and cutting away bits of boys’ genitalia are essentially the same thing. FGM isn’t done purely to control women’s sexuality. FGM doesn’t deprive every victim of sexual pleasure, quite to the contrary. FGM is not comparable to castration.
FGM is an abhorrent practice, but there is no fundamental difference between cutting off bits of little girls’ genitalia and cutting off bits of little boys’ genitalia. The difference is quantitative, not fundamental.

It’s not just that, since the weird thing about this is, that where circumcision is happening , it’s MEN defend male circumcision and it’s the WOMEN that defend the female circumcision and to top it off, its the same reasons (or if you like arguments) they use to advocate, defend, promote or justify the practice and these are hygiene, cleanliness, right to choose, tradition & custom.

The “sometimes more” referred to the more extreme versions of fgm, where a chunk of the labia and such are also removed.
Sorry, but different bits and bobs of the body are more or less valuable. Trimming the earlobe is less important to hearing than trimming the more rigid parts of the ear. Removing breast tissue while sparing the nipples and the major nerves is less damaging than removing the nipples. Losing the little toe is less important than losing the big toe.
It matters what parts of the genitalia you cut of, and removing parts of the foreskin or clitoral hood is a much smaller matter than removing parts of the penis or clitoris.
I’ve seen several internet debates about circumcision. Every one of them featured intact men recoiling in horror, and cut men saying “I’m really happy with what I have.” You can find plenty of testimony on-line from men who were circumcised as adults saying “once I healed, this was terrific”, too. Of course, that’s a biased sample, because those men all had some reason to do it. But still. Find me the women saying circumcision improved their sexual enjoyment.

Is it the same for a men than its for a women - sure not.
But as you already said as a uncut male, its very hard for me to even consider cutting of a part of my penis - ANY bit as small as it may be.
