Did American blacks look down on Indians as whites did?

Or did they regard them as a fellow people oppressed by whites? Also vice versa, how did American Indians regard blacks?

(I guess I should have put Native Americans in the subject line but alas, the exigencies of maximum length forbade).

Some Native American tribes had black slaves (Creek?), FWIW. I haven’t read much about it, just saw the connection on an episode of Genealogy Roadshow.
