A few years before Lindbergh’s trans-Atlantic flight, two frnchmen (Nunguesser and Coli) tries to fly the Atlantic. Years ago, I heard that somebody had determined that the two fliers had ctashed in Maine…and a search was made for the plane-this wasin the 1970’s I belive. Was anything ever found? Did they make it across the Atlantic?
Nothing was ever found.
