If so, can you explain to me what was the real killer’s motivation for the murder?
They establish he’s in debt to the guy who runs the secret casino – but so what? The casino guy was cooperating in their plan to force a confession from the murderer, so I think that means he hadn’t used the debt as a weapon to force the killer to killer lover boy. And anyway, why would casino guy want the lover killed?
So, why did lover boy get killed?
Maybe I slept through something important.

The killer wasn’t in debt to the guy who runs the casino; he was in debt to the guy he killed. Casino guy’s ledger had the record of his losses to dead guy.
What I’d like to know is:
Why they continually send lone personell out at night outside the gates(at least that’s where I thought dead guy was)? In OPEN vehicles? They mentioned at least 2 or 3 times about not wanting to be outside the gates at night.
I have not watched the show, but I can only wonder if this is just some alternate Universe’s version of the B Ark from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
