I remember there used to be a poster called askia. I mentioned that I hadn’t seen anything by him in a very long time. Someone in the “White People Suck” thread claimed that he changed his username.
That went right over my head. Who is he now?
He’s still Askia. He just hasn’t been around in a while. (Logged in, that is.)

I owe you an apology for wasting your time, A T, because I remember now what happened (I think). He did change his username, but it was a long time ago, and he changed it to Askia from Askia something longer. Most of his posting career has been under the new version, IIRC.

You can still find posts under that name so apparently he just re-registered as “askia”. He never posted under the old name after that. Maybe he should contact the mods about that.
Well, since he hasn’t logged in since October '08, he probably doesn’t care.

PRR and Liberal made a deal that PRR would never post on the SDMB again and Liberal would pay him $500. Triskedamus(spelling?), as a disinterested third party agreed to hold the money for 5 years and after that PRR would be on the honor system. But everyone eventually worked out their differences and we’re all one big happy family again. Yay.
