Did C.S. Lewis ever consider the possibility of reincarnation?

I seem to recall something like this in The Screwtape Letters, but I don’t have access to a copy until this evening. So did he, and does anyone recall what he had to say?

I don’t believe so. C.S. Lewis, as his writings make clear, was a staunch follower of Christianity. He believed in an after-life and a “re-birth” in God but not reincarnation.
