Did cable TV revenue peak in 2010?

I heard this asserted. Restating it formally for the thread–

From the inception of cable TV as a commercial service, until sometime in 2010, net revenue for the industry increased every quarter. Since that peak, it has declined every quarter.

Is that true? If so, what will be the effect on the medium of television as we know it? (If not, where did this story come from?)

Here are the most current revenue figures. I have knowledge of this since I have tracked it for work for over a decade. And although historical data is not available on that website, I recall from past research that cable subscriber numbers peaked in 2004 or 2005 and revenue in 2007.
