Did Hitler ever kill anyone...himself?

Why yes, he killed himself personally.

But if you’re talking about other people he may have killed, it seems unlikely. In WWI, he was a runner, not a combat soldier, and while he was decorated, that seems more likely for bravery and being injured than for smiting the enemy. During the Beer Hall Putsch, the only other incident of violence I recall him being involved in personally, he sustained (feigned?) a shoulder injury and was thus unable to lead the charge.

A note to avoid any confusion: Ranchoth is the OPer of this thread, but the server ate the OP. The question seems to be pretty clear without it.

Leaders are usually loathe to kill personally, especially if they have unquestioning hordes to do it for them. This also applies to leaders who are not despotic madmen, but the question is usually asked about despotic madmen.

Look at Charles Manson for another example.

This is pretty vague, but in a Hitler biography I read about him being a suspect in a murder (I believe the victim was his niece), but he wasn’t convicted. I’ll see if I can find a cite for you.

After his assassination atempt in 1944, he supposedly watched films of the alleged conspirators hung with piano wire. So from a distance he could be murderous.

As far as being a suspect in the death of Geli Raubal (his niece), he was never formally charged. But there are a ton of rumors about her death, officially a suicide. The general consensus is that Hitler had an incestuous affair with her, and that drove her to kill herself. But some say a ‘suicide’ was set up because this affair was a huge potential embarassment to say the least.
