However, we know now that there were thousands of photos taken at Abu Ghraib, including that one with a dog. Yes, there is a very strong argument to be made that in some of the pictures (pyramid, maybe panties on the head, etc) the American soldiers were being sadistic just to while away their time. Which leaves hundreds if not thousands more photos (guy on the box with wires, guy with bag over head chained to door, dogs, many more) that make a strong case about interrogation methods that went way over the top.

And for that matter, this issue shouldn’t be about photos. Abuse that is not photographed is still abuse, and the evidence of links between interrogations and abuse is growing day by day. There, I’ve said my piece.
