I just saw Dark Blue yesterday, what an awesome movie. Kurt Russel is great.
I think what makes Kurt Russell stand out is that he, like Jodie Foster, is one of those rarely-heard-about child actors who didn’t rob a liquor store, punch out a transvestite, or commit suicide. He successfully parlayed his Disney boy experience into a respectable, if not always stellar, adult career.
One thing that separates Backdraft with the rest of his movies is that he’s also credited as a stuntman.
