When you get there, type:
up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a, b, a
When you get there, type:
up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a, b, a
You only need to do the BA once, though more times will give you more unicorns and such.
Very cool and funny!
It appears these fine folks are in some way responsible.
How did you know to do that? How would anyone know to randomly type those things in?
That’s an old-school Nintendo cheat.
30 Lives Code. (Not sure why anyone would type that onto a webpage, though)
But how would you know to do it today? And on ESPN of all sites?
Didn’t work for me in Safari. ::shrug::
I got it to work on one article, but not on the main page. I didn’t see any unicorns, but the text turned pink and some words like cute and wonderful popped up.
Hahahahaha! It works on the articles. That’s hilarious…
Do you have javascript turned off?
Crazy, some intern at ESPN must have too much free time.
Worked for me on one of the articles, but can’t get it to work anymore. Even after closing and restarting Opera, or trying it in IE.
From what I have read, it has been removed. But, if you use the google cached page it will still work.
I clicked the link…still doesn’t work…
Hmm, I don’t know then. It works for me still. I am using firefox 3.0.9 without a popup blocker FWIW.
[kinda sorta hijack, sorry]
There’s a song in a Kia commercial that plays at the theater I go to and that sounds awfully familiar. There are a bunch of hamsters running in their wheels, taking the place of cars on the road. Then at an intersection, a Kia with hamsters in it pulls up. They’re listening to this very cool song, then drive away. I get really into the groove of the song, then these inane lyrics start being sung, very similar to the ones quoted. The stupid lyrics turn me right off.
Anyway, is this hack related to that song somehow? Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
Yay!
Got it!
It was the popup blocker that killed me (Thanks Equipoise!!)
Never mind. I went looking for the commercial and 1) found out there are several of the same commercials but have different songs playing, though I’ve only seen this one version, and 2) the specific one I’m thinking of is “Do What You Do” by Marz, and the lyrics (when the guy starts singing) are “front back, side to side, front front back back side to side, up down” and so on. The version that plays in the theater seems longer than the one at that link.
You’re welcome Sir T-Cups, but I’m not sure what I did.
On that link, I found that if I just kept clicking left-right-left-right over and over again, more stuff just kept popping up.
Aha! The cached version worked for me. Anyway, turns out you can just hold down “B” after the first “B A”, and more and more unicorns appear.
