Did the Chinese invent toothpaste first? Or was it the Egyptians or even the Romans? Did they all invent it independently around the same time?

davidmich, this thread doesn’t belong in About This Message Board. It belongs in General Questions, like most of the threads you’ve posted lately. Please read the forum descriptions and try to figure out where your threads belong. We don’t mind if someone puts a thread in the wrong forum once in a while, but if it happens every time, it’s annoying because it gives the impression they’re not paying any attention. I’ll move this one to GQ, but in the future your threads may get closed down.
