Did you ever make a Super 8/8mm movie in school?

Watching Super 8, I was reminded of the “movies” our gang made in high school under the official-sounding name of “N & P Productions”. Among other things, we produced an homage to The Prisoner called “The Captured Person”, and a space epic called “Compan” that almost made it on the local “Creature Features” TV show. Unfortunately (?) the films have all been lost, victims of one-too many moves or attic cleanings. However, one of the guys put up a web page in memory of our efforts here.

Are there any other ex-Super 8 auteurs out there?

I joined the college film club and tried a few attempts. One – “The Body” – actually seemed to work (it showed a bunch of people finding a corpse in the woods and their reactions – which were not what might be expected).
