Did you vote in your state's 2014 primary election?

Now that all the states primaries have concluded, did you vote in the 2014 primary election in your state?

I did.

Yes, absolutely.

Absolutely.

Not all. Louisiana has an atypical system.

Not just an open or even Jungle (AKA as Top Two Primary,)

Louisiana’s will be held in Nov. during the Gen election. If no one has > 50.00% then the top two are in a Dec 6 runoff.
If anyone has at least 50% plus 1 vote they are elected.

But I will be voting

I did, although I voted in the primary of the party I don’t usually vote for. But that’s the party the winners will come from.

I’m not a citizen, so I can’t.

Didn’t vote this time. I’m an independent so I’d have to affiliate with a party, then vote, then disaffiliate, and the races I cared about were foregone conclusions. There’s still the general election, but it’s also a foregone conclusion that Bill Murray will be our next mayor.

Yes, I wanted the “I Voted” sticker, I’m trying to collect them all.

I would have voted early & often but I’m not in Chicago and I’m alive

Nope. I am unaffiliated.

Never missed an election in my life, no matter how smallbore.

Closed primary state (OR) resident. Two years ago I changed my affiliation to a major party in order to vote in the primary, then changed it back. I didn’t have any need/interest/desire to vote in this primary.

First time I’ve voted absentee since 1969 when I was a student.

I had to do so because I became a vote inspector this year and was assigned to a polling place not my own. I suppose I’ll be voting that way again in November.

I don’t recall missing any primary elections (I certainly have never missed a general), but if I did, it was because the only contest in my party was for a minor office that I did not know enough about to vote in.

Just last year I voted in a primary election for town highway superintendent. Pretty minor, but I had my say.

Not only did I vote in the primary, I voted in the runoff too.

My guy didn’t win either time though :frowning:

Likewise, but I answered “Yes” because my wife voted for the people I said I would vote for. They all lost.

Yup. Actually voted in the Dem primary this year. Guy I know is running for office, and I’m supporting him.

Yes.

I did, although there were no consequential primary elections on the ballot. Of the twenty offices on the ballot, only three were contested, and three actually had no candidates at all. There were also a couple of minor issues (a developmental disabilities levy, a soil and water levy, and a bond issue).

I didn’t. Never got my ballot, though I requested one.

Unfortunately some political party pushed through a change in the law so that my prior request for a ballot was no longer honored.

This.
