Didn't expect to see THAT name in the credits!

The audience gets to see Downey, looking pretty much like himself, when he’s not doing in-character schtick as Lincoln Osiris. Cruise, by contrast, is only ever seen looking fat and bald and bearded: he’s a foul-mouthed and bespectacled guy who dances around with gusto, and – that’s all there is; there isn’t any more.

Although THAT Tony Curtis did appear in one schlocky 1970s Horror Film – The Manitou from 1978

Surprising, that was, like Kirk Douglas appearing in The Fury from the same year.

The big shocker for me this week (in honor of **Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s **20th Anniversary) was discovering that Jonathan on the show (Danny Strong) is also the creator of Empire and the co-writer of the screenplays to Hunger Games - Mockingjay, Parts One and Two.

I went to see a band about a dozen years ago, and the opening act was called Common Rotation. There was something familiar about the lead singer. I looked them up when I got home and it was Adam Busch, who played Warren on Buffy.

The person I went to the show with was a massive Buffy fan[sup]*[/sup], and she didn’t recognize him either.

  • In fact, she kinda swore off the show when Tara got killed. She didn’t recognize the guy who killed her favorite character.
