According to a recent study, artificially sweetened drinks will get you drunker and drunk faster than drinks sweetened with sugar. Sounds like champagne with Nutrasweet in it isn’t such a hot idea after all.
Sounds like an even hotter idea, then.
(Actually, I seldom think about atrificially flavored alcohol but I might try it someday considering that the amount of sweetener I need to make alcohol palatable knocks me on my ass the next day with a sugar hangover, oddly enough.)
I am willing to test this theory for you using Mike’s Light and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
