Yeah, so … you’ve got a $150,000 stereo system and a set of $80,000 speakers to go with them. Great. But is your life really complete without 8 feet of $12,000 speaker wire? Go on, ply the plastic, you know you want it.
If I spent $80,000 on speakers, I’d be pissed if there wasn’t a spool of lamp cord in the box!
By the way, even at $12,000 for eight feet, they admit they’re not truly freakishly stupid-expensive and imply there’s more expensive wire out there:
