Rolling out new badges, I guess? I don’t have either (yet) and I have 27 followers. Lord only knows why.
A slow rollout of new badges I guess. I’m pretty sure I got that “patron” badge back when I commented about random new badges.
Anyway, here’s Putin as the Joker.
and I’m pretty proud of this “Brexit” one.
Maybe I need to get a new follower to trigger the badge.
I’ll follow you. But if you linked to your actual page I haven’t been able to find it.
Thanks. This should be it.
I typically just directly link/embed the image here to have my comments and image in one place but no wrong way to do it. Just personal preference/style.
Done!
Thanks! That indeed got my the Patron & Local badges. So I guess you don’t get grandfathered into them.
I also got 40 credits for Superstar for your liking spree so thanks some more
Cheers!
Putin as Joker is grade-A propaganda AND a top-notch scary-ass movie poster!
I was going to follow you last night to see what happened, but didn’t easily find a link. I did it just now even though you already got your trigger, and it gave me 2 credits and a “friendly” badge, even though I was already following people. That’s 9 credits since yesterday for old things.
I’m not sure why exactly, but I have a whole ‘Putin’ series.
Playing around with the auto-randomizer, it came up with “A famous sculptor”. So, here is Massive Explosion, by a famous sculptor:
From a SDMB thread title:
“Is Borage the Nepenthe of the ancients”
Abstract, but kinda interesting. I decided to give it another try
Really nice.
I’ve been playing with “things made of things”, like for example these two fireworks yokai and a fire yokai, the best I’ve produced.
(“Water yokai” has blue in it and a slight feel of waves, but not much. Sand, glass, and plastic had even less distinctive results.)
I then have been trying to make wildflowers that are exploding fireworks. Nothing really satisfying, though. These two come closest, both created from start images of fireworks paintings.
This one didn’t fit my vision at all, but I really like the red, white, and blue thistle-like thing.
(Speaking of “red, white and blue”, American flag yokai.)
Red cauliflower, and lots and lots of boobs.
Decided to do one D&D style:
I’ve been playing around with this illustration again.
It really makes me wish the AI was good enough to make actual good looking versions as if they really had been made by other artists, but trust me, it isn’t.
Something tonight reminded me of The Gay Dolphin at Myrtle Beach. So I wondered if with the prompt “Gay Dolphin at Myrtle Beach” the AI would try to depict a large, historic, iconic souvenir shop actually featured briefly in a William Gibson science fiction novel, or if it would try to depict homosexual cetaceans.
It did not pick the souvenir shop.
It’s funny, I popped back over to Night Cafe before posting this to see if “gay dolphin gift cove myrtle beach” helped in a fresh incognito window (it did not) and decided to make a few images with a new prompt set I’ve developed with the remaining credits (which I published to get 3 extra credits). Except I started getting likes, and followers, and free credits kept rolling in, and by the time things calmed down on the quick test window I had 16 credits, 6 badges, 27 likes, and 4 followers for the account, all taking place inside 12 minutes. At 2 AM EDT.
Oh, and it is obvious that I’m always using “x parade” to get a group of “x” so…um…yesterday I tried “penis parade” (I mumble).
Summary
It ensued…
And now that group of images has 89 likes and 11 followers. Which is a little annoying that my individual renders in my official account don’t get the attention that what is basically a batch render of one prompt (with a couple of variables) did.
