digital microscope: suggestions??

I’m interested in getting a decent digital microscope so I can look at little critters in hay infusions. I’d like it to have decent resolution, but since this isn’t a professional deal, I’m not interested in spending $1000s of dollars, or even multi hundred.
I have a TV screen in my office for presentations that I’d like to display the critters swimming around, so I would like it to have some reasonable resolution. The microscope needs to be able to plug into my TV or computer.
about 15 year ago I had a $20 microscope that was sheer crap, and little more than a baby’s toy. I assume quality has improved.

Lets say I’m looking to spend between $30 and $150. Can the collective provide me with some experience and suggestions for decent scopes

I use these in an exhibit, and they work well. However, the depth of focus is really shallow, they only really work on flat things.

These are probably better for your application.
