Have any other Dopers heard of something called Digital TV for PC?

Is this legit, or is it something to stay clear of?
Their ad proclaims you can “Watch TV on Your PC!”, and that you can “watch over 1,249 LIVE TV Channels!”

They charge a one-time fee of $29.95, with no monthly fees and “unlimited worldwide access!”

So, is this actually something good and safe to try, or should everyone have nothing to do with it?

Stay clear of that site.

You can go to sites that carry television shows for no cost. One place to try is Hulu. OVGuide is a place that list other places, so search through their stuff.

You can also buy a digital tuner for local stations over the airwaves.
