The level of sophistication of this crowd is way above average, so when I have an unusual concern, I know somebody here may have an answer.

I don’t believe this is difficult, but it has not been imprinted in my subconscious: I told my girlfriend that least once, I heard an American song that has a word in it that sounds like “dinah sour,” obviously a purposeful aberration of the word “dinosaur,” since the song is some type of parody, if I remember. She doesn’t believe it, and I can’t come up with the name of it or even find it on the Internet.

I know somebody here knows what I’m talking about.

Could it be "Alley Oop,"which has a funny pronunciation of dinosaur (more like “Dinah-so-ahh”)?

My thought, also. It was more like “dinah-sow-ah” in my recollection.

There’s also Walk the Dinosaur by Was (Not Was). It might have used eccentric-seeming enunciation.

Not a song, but Jeff Goldblum’s character in Jurassic Park used this pronunciation. Threw me off when I first watched the movie.
