Are you ok? Seriously. It seems like you’ve kinda gone weird on us lately. And with every post you seem to be drifting a little further “out there”. Genuine concern here since I usually enjoy your posts and always enjoy watching a good argument (which you never seem to be in short supply of).
How’s this relevant? He didn’t just say he wasn’t going to be nice to non-whites…he went out and devoted his whole life to being a racist bastard and assisted others as best he could in their racist bastard endeavors. A better example would be to think of him as a servant who said he would not do the work, and then went and did his best to harm the fabric of American society when he should have been working. We’re talking about a man who spent his whole life leading people to hate. Do you really think he decided all men were equal at the last minute? Even if he did, the example becomes a servant who said he would not do the work, spent his life not doing the work, and then decided he would do the work but died without doing it. Not much of a servant.
Wow, thank you! I googled the name, and enjoyed reading his story. Some of the similarities to my father indeed are amazing. The word “tribe” particularly hooked me in. My father, unfortunately, was completely without the two fingers that were paralyzed on Reinhardt’s hand. Well, they were quarter-inch nubs. Anyway, thanks again for the new knowledge.
