I probably didn’t know which thread I was in when I posted because they’re exactly the same. I wasn’t bothering to keep track. There wasn’t a baby’s life at stake, so it wasn’t important to keep track.
This thread is about Dio. right ? He’s fairly opinionated about many subjects, and comes across as shooting from the hip.But many of his contrary opinions are directed at targets that don’t rise to the level of the SDMB backlash that one sees in the race debates . I for one would be very interested in his opinions on race and the relevance of genetics in disparate peformance. Why does he avoid these discussions?

How are they “exactly the same”? That other thread is a specific example of you being a sanctimonious bullshitter and this one is about ALL the examples. I’m trying to remember what it was you were being a blowhard expert about and then it turns out you had just misheard something your wife had mentioned at some point, but I can’t think of the keywords to search on. Nah-he’s not a ‘liar’, he’s a troll. He does this constantly to get a rise out of people. He’s been doing it for years and is the most successful SDMB troll ever with regards to the “Getting right up to the line but not going over”. It’s not like he believes the stuff he spews, he just likes the attention he gets when he constantly disrupts threads with his over-the-top routine (which he eventually mitigates).
He does this every few months–he’ll go through a period where he turns every thread he enters into The Dio Show and spends much of his posts waving his hands in the mods faces saying “Nyahh-nyahh. I’m not touching you. I’m not touching you.” Then he gets warned or mod-noted, drops the trolling routine and plays it cool 'till things die down.
And to respond in advance to Dio’s standard gimmick saying “Cite” when accused of trolling, nope. Not gonna play another round of that game with you. Been there, done that.

There’s also a thread that I can’t find right now where he says it’s not racist and/or discriminatory for a white person to refuse to see a black doctor even if it’s only because of the doctor’s skin color, it’s just no big deal.
Context is everything. That was said in response to a thread about cultural differences in pedagogy, not genetic differences. Nice trying to paint me as a racist, though. You really have no conscience at all, do you.
Oh, and in the other thread about black patients not wanting to see white doctors I said it wasn’t necessarily racist, and that in either case it wasn’t discriminatory. That’s not what discriminatory means.
