I call fake on that one, though had Michael Cera really been cast in that role, the movie would have had quite a different tone. It might actually have worked better, but I expect far less financially successful.

The knocked up videos are completely staged, and not nearly as clever as the “Huckabees” one would be if it weren’t real. Having the director exit toward camera, rant off-screen, and then suddenly burst through the fake door like something from a B horror movie was priceless. The crew member cowering in the corner was a nice touch too.
