OK, if you say so. I don’t know anything about server side stuff, but as I remember it, originally Java was mainly hyped (and, originally mainly used) as a client-side web technology, and I thought that is what it was really designed for. As such it seems (now) to have flopped. Does it have advantages over other languages for server programming?
