Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Fools. You only postponed it. Judgment Day is inevitable.

Abusing discobot is crucial to preventing Judgement Day.

discobot and I are in love, even if he won’t admit it.

Then why won’t you take the next step!?!?!?

Does discobot have legs?
@discobot fortune

:crystal_ball: As I see it, yes

January, 1986: Soviet minister of energy and electrification Vitali Sklyarov gives a published interview assuring readers that the odds of a meltdown at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant are “one in 10,000 years.”

That prediction held up nicely.

If there are no more meltdowns at Chernobyl in the next 9,966 years, he’ll be proven right.

Among other things I’ve seen over the years

  • Due to Peak Oil Gasoline would hit $10 a gallon by 2010, $20 a gallon by 2015

  • There would be mass protests and possibly a mass shooting at a screening of Black Panther by members of the alt-right

  • North Korea would either bomb or do a mass shooting at a screening of The Interview

  • The Joker movie would have incels go to screenings and cause mass shootings

  • Iran was going to launch a nuke at New York City for the killing of their top General earlier this year (and the nuke prediction was said to happen within a month of the killing, and how the world community would do nothing to support the United States after this)

Well, that one may have been averted but a couple of decades earlier in Tenerife the nightmare scenario of two 747’s colliding did in fact occur in pretty much the same way your near miss did. To this day it is still the deadliest crash in aviation history.

Similarly I remember the idea of the “Tea Party Terrorist” being a huge thing on the left leaning internet during the Obama administration. Basically the far right was going to rise up and start commiting mass terrorists attacks in protest of him. Now I’m not saying nothing was ever done by far-right extremists but people were legit predicting car bombings and stuff, the Times Square Bomber was initially reported as a white guy which caused even Rachel Maddow on her show to think it was the first of many Tea Party Terrorists.

My friend up and down claims he rented 3 video games from Blockbuster for a Y2K Gamer Party the day before Y2K, and he forgot to return them so when he went to pay the late fees they claimed according to the system he had never rented them, so he just kept the games and their rental boxes.

Too much rubbing causes hair loss. You’d think the people who predicted this would think about things like that.

White supremacists are currently thought of by DHS as the largest terrorist threat to the US. Are white supremacists and the far right the same? Probably a discussion for a different forum, but I think reasonable people will agree there is overlap. White supremacist groups aren’t using the car bombs and suicide tactics that have been favored by many foreign terrorist groups, as they seem to prefer shooting.

Yeah but literally the large scale attacks that some people feared were going to happen never materialized. There were fears of Oklahoma City bombings and weekly mass shootings which never materialized. You’re still seeing it now with people claiming that white supremacists are going to start shooting up polling places in black areas in this years election.

Yes, these posts belong in a different forum. Let’s try to keep politics out of MPSIMS, thanks.
