I downloaded DiscourseHub for my Android device but it doesn’t fund the message board when I search for it.

  • When I type in ‘Straight’ it seems to lock up
  • I add ‘Dope’ and it says “Straight Dope was not found!”
  • When I type ‘SDMB’ it seems to lock up

I know the app has lousy reviews but if it doesn’t find the boards, then it’s completely useless for me.

It seems that the app is not made by Discourse itself, but by a third party.

One of the Discourse techs said that it’s just a wrapper for a browser, poorly rated, and not necessary.

Discourse is designed to work on tablets and mobile, and it’s best to use a normal browser. There’s no advantage to using the app.
