Disney Does Dali!

Just after WW II, Disney started working on an animated cartoon with Salvadore Dali, but dropped the project before it was ever completed because Disney didn’t think that they’d make a profit off the film. Disney has now decided to complete the project and you can even see short clips of the film. And yes, it will be released on DVD next year. :cool:

The odd thing is that the project was revived because it was now deemed profitable – not due to the revenues from the film itself, but because it would give Disney clear title to a bunch of Dali sketches and paintings that had been in legal limbo since the original project was abandoned in the 1940s:
