No, that’s Monsters Inc.
I think they kinda blew it by not having anything ready to go after the Mandalorian. I know some enjoy the Disney kids stuff, some the Disney movies and the animated movies, and some the Marvel stuff, and done the Simpsons, but we don’t get into any of that. As soon as the Mandalorian ended we canceled. I haven’t looked, but I have to imagine there are a significant number of people who did the same thing. If they had had the Obi Wan series with Ewan McGregor ready to drop, we would have stuck with it. But as it is, we won’t be back until there’s more content. They open enough properties that there should be more. There’s talk about them competing with Netflix, but they’re nowhere near that level yet.
I just finished watching the 13-episode animated series “Legend of the Three Caballeros”, and it was outstanding.
This weekend my daughter and wife watched Freaky Friday (2003) with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, and then, at my recommendation, Freaky Friday (1976) with Jodi Foster and Barbara Harris. I still think the 1976 version was superior.
We’ve also been burning through a lot of Dog Whisperer episodes via the NatGeo content.
[sorry, double-post]
I am tired of having to make a note of where I am in a show when I shut down my window. Every other platform I’ve used at the least will show you last played if not automatically play the next one when you come back and click watch show. But Disney+ starts with S1E1 when you click play on the title.
We’re not having that issue, I wonder what we’re doing different.
Check you app? It has not done this at all on my app.
I’m using it mostly on my laptop in my browser because my iPad is too old for the app and my phone is too small. I googled to make sure I wasn’t doing it wrong and other people have the same problem.
The live-action Aladdin was released today on Disney+, and you know something? I liked it just as much as the animated version, and that’s saying something!
If you are a fan of Toy Story 4’s Forky, be sure to check out the series of shorts Forky Asks A Question; they’re really funny and well done.
Also, the new Mickey Mouse shorts are really good; many of them take place in far-flung locations (I particularly like Our Floating Dreams, which takes place in Thailand).
I saw it in theaters and really liked it. We haven’t had the time to watch it yet, but it’s first on the list when it’s movie night
Frozen II has been released three months ahead of schedule on Disney+, in response to the state of emergency. Give us something nice to watch.
And Rise of Skywalker 4 days early. (Due Tuesday, came out yesterday.) Gives us something to watch.
On Disney+?
I thought it was only released early as a digital purchase, not for streaming. I looked earlier today on Disney+ and did not see it.
I guess not there.
Onward (in theaters 2 weeks ago) has been released for digital purchase today, on Disney+ April 6th.
BTW: **April 3rd ** on Disney+
