Displaying Non-Roman Characters

I have received mail into my Yahoo account written in Hebrew. The message is now un-readable : “äé ùåá àáðø” etc…

Yahoo states that they simply do not handle non-Roman cfharacters. My IE options are set to both Hebrew and English, Font and Language, and I do see Hebrew pages well.

Is there a way for me to force the fonts to display in Hebrew (maybe using copy / paste) or is this message lost?

Try the “Encode” setting under the “Display” menu. It’s probably set to “automatic” now - try setting it to Hebrew manually.

Thanks – it worked.

Just tell me one thing - are you Avner, or is it the guy who sent you the mail? Without punctuation it can go either way.

Anyway, I use My Yahoo as well, and I’ve never had any problem sending and recieving Hebrew messages. My version of Windows, however, is Hebrew-supporting, which may make a difference.
