I saw someone at the bus stop recently who was walking exactly like a crane with sore feet. Knees coming straight up, like he was picking his way around, with half-steps, spine ruler straight. Or there was the RA with a very distinctive rolling gait even though we were right smack in the middle of the lower 48. I don’t know how his knees withstood that…
