I’ve got the attorney, and am getting ready to file papers. However, I’d like to get together as much as my info as I can before I present it to her, in the interest of saving time for us all. Basically, I need to know what I’m legally entitled to, and I’m looking for this information presented in clear, simple terms. Right now I’m scouring the net, but I’m not a very good googler, so if anyone knows of a good site, or can send me to the bookstore for a good book, please feel free to offer info.
Thanks for any help!
Best,
karol
The Nolo Press books on divorce should be available in your local library and bookstore and will provide a good grounding in layman’s law for you.
not alot to add, but good luck and hope its not too much of a mess, as divorce can really suck, There are a billion divorce websites on the web, but I have no clue how accuarate their info is, as I am not a lawyer, But good luck anyway Bodypoet!
We should just start a SDMB Divorce club.
Try these out, some decent info, some require you to register though.
Nothing beats a good lawyer.
