My question is for any trait, but I’ll pull one out that most folks can visualize. Apologies in advance if I offend anyone. I’m trying to get to an answer, but I may not use the right “PC” terms.
Do any animals that are native to the Pacific Rim have eyes that are evolved in the same way as the people that live there? I would think that animals would have to adapt in the same way as humans, at least in something that is as universal as vision. I remember reading a theory on why Asians have almond-shaped eyes/eyelids, however I’ve never noticed that animals from that part of the world reflect the same eye/eyelid shape.
Any theories out there?
