I am having some issues with pain in my neck and I think part of it stems from my mouse setup. The mouse is high relative to the chair. I need to bring it down.
I was looking at some mouse platforms like this and there’s a lot of them, most with very few reviews.
Does anyone have one that they use and could recommend? Or recommend against?
I had a similar device maybe 15 years ago. It was great for bashing your knee into. Other than that it was OK. But only OK, not great. The platform was always a little bit wobbly, not at all like the unmoving desk it was attached to. Which overall made the mousing a bit less accurate. I got used to it, but I’ve never felt the need to get another one.
If your mouse is too high, isn’t your keyboard also too high? I have a desk that’s too high, so I attached an adjustable keyboard tray that holds the keyboard and mouse. I’ve been very satisfied with it. The clamp-on model in the OP looks kinda flimsy. My tray doesn’t seem to be available anymore, but it’s something like this.
My keyboard is on a tray that is part of my desk so it’s low. The keyboard is kinda big but even if it wasn’t I don’t think there would be room for a mouse. The desk is L-shaped so there’s not room for a bigger tray, either
