Do decades still have defining stereotypes/characteristics?

Haven’t read the thread yet but I will. In the meantime, my first thought is that low-rise pants of the 2000s where as different from the high-waisted '90s as the difference between the '70s and '80s fashions. I first noticed it when rewatching Buffy, which began in the high waisted era and ended in the low-rise era. Quite a marked difference.

My second thought was I hope everyone has seen this video, it’s awesome:

The general impression I get from the video is that fashion trends did slow down quite a bit starting around 2000. Except for the low rise pants thing, of course, but those don’t make an appearance in the video.

What was up with girls crossing their arms in the '70s? And did anyone else bust out laughing when they saw the dudebro hairstyle of 2020?

The impression I got was that people of color didn’t attend high school until around 2017.

Thanks! I watched the whole thing and have just one question: If the Tupperware is going to be used for kosher food, does a rabbi need to snip the little stem on the bottom?

^^^Yikes! Wrong thread.

There’s a Kosher Tupperware thread? Gotta go find it, see ya later!
