Do Female Animals Have Orgasms?

My WAG is that orgasms are only nessacery in species intelligent enough to override their reproductive instinct (humans, dolphins, monkeys etc). If a species’ reproduction is driven by instinct, then sex doesn’t need to be gun.

How do you think reproductive instincts work? The fact that sex is enjoyable is part of the instinct.
