The most recent incident (and this is just gathered from all over, memory only…), the focus of his attention was much less appreciative, and copied the e-mails and pictures around to his friends, as an example of shock and ewwwww!

It reminds me of the ending of “Three Days of the Condor” in which Robert Redford (Turner) tells his CIA boss, Higgins (Cliff Robertson), that he just submitted a report of all the events that occurred in the last 3 days to “The New York Times”.

And, more importantly, Studds “publicly acknowledged his homosexuality” (according to Wikipedia, which also mentions that this was already known by his constituents), ran for re-election and was re-elected five more times.

The proper rule is, if a Republican gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar, immediately bring up something – anything – that a Democrat once did that is in some way remotely connected.
