My friend is giving me an N wireless router. I’m going to use it with my Apple TV to steam Netflix and baseball with my Apple tv. My download speed is up to Mbps.
I don’t do any gaming. Is the N router good enough?
The N router is a later standard than G and is backwards compatible with G. There is no example I can think of where going back to G would be advantageous over a newer N. You might not get much benefit of N over G but there’s no benefit to G over N.
