Do skateboarders have some sort of omerta code?

My son is a boarder - and in my opinion the issue isn’t really about their safety - its about the property damage. My concrete gets chipped from the trucks - he bought a new rail so he wouldn’t use the steps because I said he couldn’t.

But a bad bunch of boarders is a bad bunch of boarders.

Technical nit-pick: This wouldn’t exactly be omerta, would it? I thought omerta was more about the code of silence; IOW don’t take your internal issues with other gangsters to the cops, and so on. IOW you can’t violate the code of silence with regard to another person unless both of you in some way identify with the same subculture.

Yeah, I couldn’t come up with a shorthand for gang mentality that wouldn’t get some people riled.
