Do those Trooper Supporter Stickers help?

Every year I get solicited by the state highway patrol to donate money to their fund. If you make a donation they send you a sticker for your bumper or back glass that says, “Trooper Supporter”. I wonder if this helps out in a traffic stop situation.

Seems to me that it’s intimated that it will or otherwise they would just accept donations without offering the stickers. I get the same solicitations from the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association as well as the Fraternal Order Of Police.

What’s your opinion? Are the police offering a little backhanded immunity with these stickers? I have one on my car but haven’t been stopped in years, so I don’t really know for sure.
