I’ve recently gone back to Turbine’s now free-to-play Dungeons and Dragons Online game. They seem to have done a good job in fixing the rough points from their launch several years ago (mostly that pen & paper rules are brutally unbalanced without a human game master). They’re still adding new content, and the number of adventures is in the several hundreds now.
It’s not going to take the gaming world by storm, but I’m enjoying it. Probably the only MMO I can think of where non-combat skills make a difference (at least for rogues).
I realize this game is both old and never very popular, but I figure there must be a few players here. I didn’t see a guild listed in the sticky; is there one?
