Do You Believe Stanley Kubrick's "Mysterious Messages"?

All the evidence points in one direction, the sensationalistic crap you have been watching, full of lies and innuendo, points in another direction…and you claim not to have a position.
Right.

Relax, dude. The US government has admitted to a lot of things. Read, or if you prefer video, watch The Church Committee hearings. If they can admit to hundreds of CIA attempts to kill world leaders, it’s possible they lie about things we don’t know… Anyway, onward.

Aside from the documentaries, I was wondering if the viewers here might have read into something themselves, or maybe noticed things in the background that could be little message from Kubrick done in a way to avoid interrupting the story, or hammering our heads with messages. I think with a full length documentary, the director and/or writer probably has to do a lot of “reaching” to fill at least 90 minutes… I was also curious if those who did see a certain documentary could point out assumptions made, and explain why it’s incorrect for example. Maybe it was a detail in the book, for example, while some think it was Kubrick who was pushing some sort of agenda.I also wonder why its Kubrick who is the focus of interpretation. Besides all these kinds of documentaries people make, I see the discussion on other sites and blogs. Maybe it’s because Kubrick was very detail oriented, and didn’t do something without purpose? I also think his movies deal with social commentary and the conflicts of man vs. man, technology, with the other powerful forces (government, religion, prison, sex, media, family, karma) we see in “A Clockwork Orange” and their influence, and if/how behavior is modified, and attempting to take an honest look at the dark sides of humans.

Well that right there shows that you do have an “opinion” about it and don’t realize conspiracy theories are garbage.

This kind of nonsense is exactly why we now have QAnon.

So the U.S. Government has not made any admissions when it comes to the supposed faking of the moon landings, right?

You are either self-censoring, or you don’t understand what a conspiracy means. One guy can’t just overthrow a government by himself with no support like we (US) did in Guatemala, Iran, etc (starting in the 1950s) on the behalf of United Fruit Company and Big Oil.

Surely you can see the gaping hole in your logic here.

My money’s on “No”…

Well, I’ve noticed several hidden meanings in Paths Of Glory that lead me to believe Kubrick knew who assassinated JFK, and he left strong proof the moon landings were faked! It’s right there in (literal) black and white people!

We totally understand what a conspiracy is. It’s when real people do bad stuff in secret. Sometimes for a government and far more often in furtherance of ordinary criminality.

We also understand what a conspiracy theory is: a paranoid fantasy that conflates remote possibility with near certainty, inverts the burden of proof, and dismisses all logic in the face of unyielding blind belief in utter nonsense.

Would that others possessed this clarity.
