If I’m dining out, I’ll typically drink 4 or 5 glasses of Coke. I’l usually finish the first one between the time the server brings it to me and the time he returns to take our order. if I’m at home I drink either water or milk out of a 19oz glass, usually refill it 3 or 4 times.
I get a glass of water at home and drink it after I eat everything. I don’t know why, I never think about drinking while I’m eating. If I’m at my parent’s house I do the same with milk, my mom is all about bones being strong when I turn 90.
If I’m out to eat, I usually drink water or alcohol throughout the meal and can easily go through 3-4 glasses. Probably because I usually go to chinese restaurants. (P.F. Changs is da bomb! You should try it out even if you’re not a fan of chinese, my brother isn’t but he likes it too)
I pretty much always have something to drink while I eat. Even if I’m drinking wine or beer, I’ll match it with water while eating, not to reduce the alcoholic effects, but because food makes me thirsty. When I choose milk, I also tend to drink a lot of it - I can rather easily go through a bag of milk in one sitting if I’m not paying attention (that’s about 1.33 litres, for those unfamiliar with bags of milk!). My brother is the same way - when we were kids, my parents used to “force” us to drink juice or pop during meals because the two of us would easily go through 4L of milk a day otherwise!
Supper is super with a glass of ice cold milk.
Eating out I usually go with pop (soda for you non-midwestern types) or juice.
I always drink water with a meal. At least one pint; sometimes more. I will occasionally have a flavorful beverage, like soda or beer or wine, but they don’t replace the water.
I always drink lots of water when eating.
