Do You Ever Respond To Those Millionaire Letters?

You know “you may have won a million dollars” type letters? All you have to do is put this sticky here and this sticky there and attach the “bonus” sticker on the outside of the envelope to win a free car.

Well have you done it? Have you ever won or heard of somebody that won…anything? But do you still do it? Of course I chunk alot of them in the garbage but sometimes I admit it they look soooo good and soooo easy I have sent them in. I mean afterall a stamp is still cheaper than a dollar for a lottery ticket.

One more thing how can they make money I mean with the multicolor, multipage, stickies and everything those mailers have got to be expensive to do. And I have never bought anything well except for a readers digest subscribtion for $12 it seemed like a good deal.

Anyway the main question is have you ever sent one in and more inportant have you ever I mean ever known of anyone that won.

Double nope.

No, but sometimes I’ll send everything back to them if they include a postage paid envelope. I even return the envelope the whole mess arrived in. I don’t like junk mail, and I’d sooner it go into their wastebasket, instead of mine. :)I don’t get as many of these as I used to… I think they might be getting the hint.

Never. I believe I did once, many years ago, and all that followed was a barrage of junk mail.

The thing is, for the publisher’s clearinghouse one, you have to buy magazine subscriptions in order to enter. I once tried to enter it without buying anything. The instructions were so vague; it was insane!
