So you get the closest bid on TPIR and leave contestant’s row. The game you play is something like the golf game, where you have to put a bunch of items in order from cheapest to most expensive. Items like cough drops, batteries, Nestle’s Kwik, Rice A Roni, etc. You get three right, miss the putt.
Do you get to keep the items you won? IOW, do you leave with the item you won to get up there, plus some batteries and cough drops?
[sub]Really enjoying Drew Carey on TPIR. He seems like he’s having a good time, laughing along with the contestants, etc. I’m glad he isn’t trying to mimic Barker in any way, which would’ve been a colossal blunder. I shudder to think how unwatchable it would’ve been with Rosie.[/sub]
I know you keep whatever prize you guessed on to get out of contestant’s row, and I think the little things are usually like a year’s supply if it’s a food or drug, and if it’s like a dustbuster or coffee maker I think you get it too.
The grocery items are not won. The small prizes ($25-100 stuff used in games like Plinko) are won if guessed correctly. And remember that everybody who makes it onto a game has already won the item in the initial bid, so even if they lose at the game and the wheel, they’re still going home with something.
