When I was in NYC a couple of months ago, I say a Lexus SUV that had that slogan stenciled in 5" white vinyl letters across the entire back bumper. That’s commitment there.
Several years ago I came across a store selling the yellow diamond peel off stickers with the slogan on clearance. I bought about a dozen of them for $5 or something close to that. I’d stick them on my friends’ cars when we were out drinking. Usually it would take a couple of weeks before they figured they were there.
a friend of mine attached one of those stupid signs and a very creepy, naked, anatomically correct baby doll to a piece of wood (a board, get it?). He then attached this very creepy “work” of “art” to his truck’s bumper and gleefully drives around town with it. I’m kinda glad I don’t have a picture to post because of how creepy it is. You can’t unsee it.
But yes, now I can’t get B sharps outta my head. Thank you all for that.
I’ve never had a baby on board sign on my car. I’ve got two kids. I don’t see those signs as much as I used to at the preschool my daughter goes to (which also has a daycare downstairs), but then again, I don’t pay a lot of attention to others’ cars. Usually I’m not trying to read a sign, but looking at the road instead. I think they’re a bit silly, but as far as I’m concerned they’re more bumper stickers than anything else, like those stencils of families people often have on the back of their cars.
