Do you have AnyPerk at work? What exactly are the discount amounts?

I’m interested in signing up for this as the price point is reasonable, $5 per employee per month, but the discount structure is vague. “Up to 50% off” 1% is also up to 50% off.

The companies that offer the discount under their program include a lot of companies that many of us use regularly, but I would like to hear some personal experiences with actual numbers to see if the discounts are any better than what could be found with a few minutes of smart shopping on Google.

Thanks.

As an employee of a gigantic school district, I apparently have this benefit. It doesn’t cost me anything personally, so I never thought of what it’s worth. I got a discount of about $50 on my netbook, and I get a 5% discount from Verizon (although I don’t know whether it’s through this program or something independent), but aside from that, it’s just another thing, like loyalty programs and credit card points, that I generally ignore. It’s a source of junk email to me, pretty much.

At our home improvement store nobody gets a discount or perk, including the owners when they come in to buy product. It keeps things nice and simple. No if, ands or buts. Nor is there any special designated employees day. However, we are afforded any and all sale prices just like any other customer. Personally, I like it.

Thanks. I found out Zipcar is 15% off.

Some of the vendors look pretty good, like ADT, AMC, Regal and taskrabbit.
