U68? I remember that was a NY area (only?) Music Video channel on during the mid-1980s that I liked to watch - Power Hour and all (we didn’t have cable then, so no MTV) That’s the only place I ever saw Uncle Floyd (and Oogie), doing short segments between videos every now and then. Alas, U68 eventually was booted of the air for another shopping channel… :mad:

Yes, I remember Uncle Floyd. They had him in syndication on Channel 38 out of Boston for about a year when I was in middle school - must have been around 1982. I thought he was hilarious. But then again, I was only 12. I remember seeing Cyndi Lauper for the first time on his show; she sang while Floyd accompanied her on the piano.

Uncle Floyd was the first show where i saw the Ramones. Yes.
Me too :eek:. So glad she’s still alive. Yeah, I used to watch her all the time; still remember her big glasses and her tell-it-like-it-is sincerity.
