Yes, I gave our nice lady some dough and a card, because she hefts an awful lot of catalogs and mail order loot for me, always with a good attitude and a greeting.
I live in a rural area and have a PO box but I also have a business in town so that carrier got a gift. I couldn’t afford to give cash so I made two batches of fudge (one with nuts and one without), arranged it on a nice Christmas plate and wrapped it up with clear wrap. I put a crocheted angel on top instead of a bow and placed it all in a gift bag. I prefer to do things like that anyway because to me it’s more personal than an envelope with a few bills in it.
We’ve had loads of problems with our mailman. He either doesn’t drop off our mail or doesn’t pick up outgoing mail based solely on his whims. :mad:
