Do you like certain sodas warm?

I don’t like anything warm. I think soda (and beer) probably has to be ice cold to make it attractive enough to go down my throat.

Ah yes, here it is:

Q: What is hot Dr Pepper?
A: Hot Dr Pepper was developed many years ago as a refreshing winter drink. Heat Dr Pepper in a saucepan to 180 degrees, place a thin slice of lemon in the bottom of a coffee mug or insulated cup and pour the heated Dr Pepper over the lemon.

Amen!

Found an obvious trick for that. I shake it up a little bit.

Diet is still nasty hot, though. Or, at least, it is with aspartame. I found a sucralose cherry limeade from Wal-Mart that is good–almost like the old Cherry 7up.

One of the reasons I like Mountain Dew is that it’s still perfectly drinkable and good-tasting at room temperature. I liked being able to purchase a 2-liter of Dew and just sip at it all day long. I think there are two factors in MD’s favor: It’s sweeter than most sodas, and it’s not as heavily carbonated.
